Thank you Unquera hotel guy- showed us an alternate, more scenic, easier though longer route. Poured rain all day but we made it to Ribadesella by 3 pm. I have not ever been this wet. We rode a stretch that was pretty much riding in a flowing stream. Didn’t think I had it in me but when you HAVE to make it to a particular destination…. We are staying in a nice hotel in Ribadesella right on the ocean. Trying to figure out how to get the clothes and shoes dry enough for tomorrow. I may or may not have just burned out the hotel hair dryer. Tomorrow looks a little less wet, but time will tell.

Nice town. No trash at all very clean! Beautiful chapel. Looks like some of the old capillas in Valencia county.
I pray for a dry day for you guys! Keep trucking.
Thanks.
