24 hilly, windy miles today. But thankfully no rain. The countryside is so green with flowers everywhere. Seems like people here take a lot of pride in their yards and property. A funny sight- horses just running across the highway- not a human in sight, but they seemed to know where they were going!
We got to Unquera about 1 p.m. and saw a laundry mat so we decided to take advantage of that instead of washing clothes in the sink and hanging them in the room. Not much to do or see in Unquera so we took a nice nap. Eating early in Spain is eating at 8 p.m. which we try to do as often as possible so we can get to sleep as soon as we can. Hard to believe we have been cycling for 8 days already and just 3 to go. Tomorrow looks hilly, very wet and windy so say an extra prayer for us.
Excellent Relive. Well done.
If you think you’ve seen a few cows and horses just wait for the Primitivo. Also a few bee hives along the way.
Loved the topography video!!!!! Hang in there. Almost there!!!!!!
You guys should have wrangled one of those horses and just rode it the rest of the way
The Relive program is most amazing. I’ve been using Gaia, but I don’t think it can do what Relive does. Does it show you where to go also? I’m hoping once you are home and rested we can schedule a presentation from you somewhere!
