The themes for today – fog, wet and mud. However, what we could see was pretty cool and we met some really nice people from all over the world. Had coffee and then dinner later with a nice gentleman from Switzerland. The trails were muddy for a lot of the day but, thanks to hiking poles and waterproof boots, we trudged through. Someone set up a nice pilgrim rest with a vending machine and a bench and table where we had our bocadillo for the day. Even passed a W/C (porta potty) seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Our new friend, Philip from Switzerland, said he was warned to take another route because there was a big bull in the path. We didn’t get the same warning and did pass a cow on the path. She was just eating her way up the path.
Very excited to find that our hotel has a washing machine and dryer and that we didn’t have to wash clothes in the sink. Hoping for less fog tomorrow so we can enjoy the scenery.
