OCTOBER 10- DAY 8 and 124 MILES WALKING TO FONSAGRADA

Catching up on blog posts tonight so make sure you check out the last 2 days also. Yesterday was so pretty and sunny and we walked today the whole day in rain and fog. At the top of a high mountain with a wind farm we passed from Asturias to Galicia.  The trails actually got a little better though still wet. Even with wet and mud and fog, we are loving this experience and feel really blessed to be here. Hard to believe that we will reach Santiago in a little over a week. We saw quite a few pilgrims today- most of them pass us.  I’m slow and take a lot of pictures. Not many services on this stretch but we were lucky to find a little bar/cafe where we got a couple of sandwiches to eat on the trail. We did come across a little restaurant and had a coffee con lech and warmed up for a bit.  Looks less likely to rain tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
