280 miles later we are in Pola de Siero. We leave our bikes here and start walking. Thought it was going to be a flat ride according to Google Maps but not so- was climb of 1630 feet. We passed a lot of these funny looking structures which are common in Asturias, called Horreos. They were used for grain storage and were built to keep rodents out. They are everywhere! Had lunch in Pola de Siero and then headed to our pension. Amazing hostess and the best meal we have had in Spain. We got all our hiking stuff organized for our, relatively, short walk to Oviedo tomorrow.
