OCTOBER 30- LAST DAY IN MADRID AND LAST DAY OF VACATION

Wow! Seven weeks went by so fast! It’s hard to comprehend all that we have seen and experienced and accomplished. We spent most of they day just wandering around, having our last cafe con leche, Spanish tortilla, tapas and vermouth.  We went to Mass at Iglesia de Santiago y Juan Bautista and said thank you and goodbye to St. James. Early tomorrow morning, our last trip down the stairs from the 5th floor and off to the airport.

Thanks for following along. Check back in the next couple of weeks. I have a couple more posts planned on products and practices we loved and interesting observations from Spain, France and Portugal.

Ciao!

El Rastro market - eh. Not that exciting.
Islamic walls from the 9th century
